Position Summary
We are seeking a caring and experienced Part-Time Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct nursing care to our senior participants, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being in our daycare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor vital signs and assess participants’ health conditions
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Coordinate with families, physicians, and healthcare providers
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
- Assist with activities of daily living as needed
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies
- Participate in care plan development and implementation
- Educate participants and families on health-related topics
Qualifications
Required:
- Current Colorado RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (geriatric experience preferred)
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English (required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate approach to senior care
Preferred:
- Bilingual capabilities in Vietnamese, Korean, and/or Spanish
- Experience in adult day care, long-term care, or geriatric settings
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations
